So Bill O'Reilly (Falafel Loofah) went to lunch with Al Sharpton at Sylvia's Restaurant in Harlem and was surprised to find that the famed soul food eatery was just like any other restaurant in the city, this despite the fact that it's run and patronized by black folks. O'Reilly noted "There wasn't one person in Sylvia's who was screaming, 'M-Fer, I want more iced tea.' You know, I mean, everybody was—it was like going into an Italian restaurant in an all-white suburb in the sense of people were sitting there, and they were ordering and having fun. And there wasn't any kind of craziness at all."

Where are the white progressives, where is the white left, where are all the white people who have benefited from hip hop culture when it comes to standing up for members of the hip hop generation, I do not ask where black and brown and Asian and indigenous folks were. It is interesting that the white anti-war movement does not see the war in their Amerikkkan backyard, at the end of the day white "left", "progressives" "antiwar" believe the America is redeemable but we as revolutionary folk of color know that you can never eat around a rotten apple and not get sick. I am looking for the white anti-imperialists, the David Gilberts and Laura Whitehorns of this generation. Holla, if you hear this. As Chuck D one said, "you may love hip hop, you may love black culture, but do you love black people? There's a difference". This is a rant, this is only a rant, build on it, critique it, hate or love, but if you read this do something for the Jena 6 and fight the war on youth of color.
